Last day of daddy's treatment has come and gone!!

But the side effects are at their peak now..so it's hard for daddy to really feel happy I guess. Still, he's way more chatty and smiley these few days as compared to the past few months..I don't want to ask for too much; I just hope that everything can be back to normal in as little time as possible..

No more daily hospital visits!! It can be really mood-dampening.

I was still wondering what I'll do once the daily trips to NUH stop..and I found my answer today.

Study!!

I can't believe I just typed that. I am smack in the middle of holidays, I don't have PA, no intersem, and I just decided to start reading up and studying for my core module for next sem. Amazing isn't it. Hahaha.

Kind of gotta thank qilun for that. Cos' he's looking for a study partner, and on impulse, I happily volunteered myself. Lol. Then again, it's not such a bad idea. The course description of the core module I'm going to take next sem doesn't sound easy. And I'm planning on taking another core as my elective, so it won't be as slack as it seems after all..

So, it's good that I'm starting early!! Once I get my hands on the textbook. Courtesy of kc!! Though I wish we can take the class together next sem. Ah wells. Thanks for offering to lend me the book first though. Hee. =)

I think between trying to study some basic stuffs in preparation for next sem, plus the occasional functions to work, helping to take care of daddy, going out once in awhile..that's probably how I'm going to spend the rest of my hols.

Did think of getting a full-time temp job, but I think mummy's thinking of doing the same..on a more permanent basis, that is. We can't possibly go by the rest of our days with zilch income. And if she goes out to work..means I can't do the same. Someone has to be at home to look after everything..

Feeling quite perky for a monday cos' I'm hoping for good things to come my way! Glad to actually coax a laugh out of daddy today, plus I'm looking forward to dinnering with siti tmr!! And my dinner date with kc on fri! Please pray that you don't get OT again. Hahaha. Or I help you smack your boss! =p

Am supposed to be immensely tired since I slept no more than 2 hours last night, been up at the crack of dawn, and off to the hospital even before traffic jams started congesting roads. I was really exhausted and kept wanting to doze off there and then. Shouldn't have yakked on the phone for so long last night. Haha. But it was great conversation! I laughed plenty, got entertained, talked rubbish, shared opinions..all these with someone I'd never have thought of chatting to on the phone!! I hope the friendship lasts, really. Hope it's one of those that can withstand the test of time and distance..cos' you're really a friend I'd like to keep, a friend whom I can rely on when in need.

I am totally awake!! Which is damn wrong. I need my beauty sleeeeep...I think the lack of it is seriously showing. You know this becomes a problem when one week, someone asks:
"have you not been sleeping well? You look like a panda."
and the next week, follows up with:
"you look like you just woke up."
when in fact I slept almost 12hours the night before!! I wanted to faint when I heard that. Hahaha.

Anyways, some work updates!! EOGM wasn't too bad; only turnover for 40 tables this time! Before anything proper started though, we had a little mishap in the store. First, hamidah cut her finger on broken glass, then just as we were looking for a plaster, dear pingting got an even deeper cut on her hand. And when I say deep, I really mean deep. It just wouldn't stop bleeding!! Damn scary la..in the end, she got her hand bandaged by melvin, and a worried alvin came along and whisked her off. I msged her the same night and realised she'd been to the A&E for a damaged tendon..which will require a visit to the specialist. But otherwise, she's fine..thank goodness..

Clearing up after that was pretty fuss-free and fast too! We happily signed out at 10.30pm..I haven't signed out at such a time for..a superrrr long time already!

Okay, the fatigue is starting to set in. I think it's from staring at the monitor for too long. Blogging an entirely too-long post which no one but myself reads. Hahaha. Nevermind la, self-entertainment. I like to write anyways.

Bedtime soon! Finally going to get my butt down to register for basic theory tomorrow! Procrastinated long enough. Bleah. If anyone has contacts for private driving instructors..please throw them my way!! I need to start looking!! Auto or manual, doesn't matter! I don't even know if there are instructors for auto. Hahaha.
