Happy Birthday darling. =)

Today was a day of ups and downs..had a yummy breakfast with daddy dearest in the morning, before doing grocery shopping and heading for home. Left home again in the early afternoon to go and buy dear's present..wanted to surprise him at his house with the present and a cake, so I had everything nicely planned out, like what time to leave town, etc.

Everything went well until I got to the bus stop. Picked that bus stop cos' I knew there was a bus there which goes to his house..I took it a few days ago to go his house bai nian. So I waited at that bus stop. And waited and waited and waited.

Still no bus.

I waited for almost an hour! And checked the bus direction details a few times while waiting. So as to make sure that bus stop really has the bus I wanna take.

In the end, I gave up. Super tired from standing and waiting, watching a blazing hot sunny weather turn to wind and rain, then back to sunshine. And still no bus.

So, I called jy, only to find out that the bus service is a really weird one. Certain days, certain timings, don't go by that route.

I waited for nothing!!! =(

Felt damn stupid la.Wasted so much time, and instead of giving him a surprise, he had to leave house immediately to come and meet me. It still took him over an hour though..I was damn sian in the meantime. Walking aimessly and sitting around till my butt rotted.

Wasn't in the best of moods when I finally met him..I wasted at least 3hours when I could have been studying at home la. But I'm glad it got better. And we talked some things out..much to my relief. No definite solution or answer to the problem yet, but at least we acknowledged the issue and what can possibly be done..I'm just looking at things with an open mind and with optimism. Whatever happens, whether we'll stay together or not, I know we'll still be good friends..and that's the most impt thing. If we're meant to be, we will be, no matter what. If not, at least I know he's still a friend I can count on. =)

There are many little things to be ironed out..I don't want to pick at him and his faults endlessly each time we meet. But I hope he'll change for the better, and same goes for me. It takes 2 hands to clap after all..

Anyway, we went river hongbao after that to walk walk and look see. Not as nice as last year leh..and didn't catch any fireworks this time round. So sad. Still, we soaked in abit of the atmosphere and took pictures! Haven't uploaded to my lappie cos' I left the usb cable in hall. Haha.

Overall a pretty good day that ended well..which I'm thankful for. Seems that lately I always worry our days will end on a sour note whenever we meet. Doesn't sound too good right..but well. We'll try to work things out. Start afresh, inject some life, whatever. I'll try my best too. =)

Have cried myself dry.

Tears mixing with water flowing from the shower.

The ache I feel within my heart. It dulled. Until I got the final msg.

Maybe you don't know how much it hurts. Until someone does it to you. Someone close to you.

I thought I'd be immune to it by now. You always respond in this manner. But this time, I can't take it.
