Freshie's welcome tea today!

The turnout was unexpectedly good. Haha. I think there were 12 or 13 trumpet freshies in total. My goodness. I was a mess trying to find instruments for them. Not enough in the end! Even resorted to using both flugels and some of the snrs' own trumpets. Thank you my dear section! For all coming down in the end. When I thought no one would. Full strength! Sometimes I just love my section. Even if they do bully me endlessly cos' I'm the only girl. Hahaha.

Which reminds me of what I told the freshies, "Pls join band! I want to have other girls to talk to instead of being the only girl. One whole year already!" And I tried to give a pitiful expression. But my facial expressions can never vary much. Unlike adeline. Lol.

Anw, stupid edmund told the other girls, "Then you all shouldn't join since she's year 2 already. Let her be the only girl for 1 more year la!" Thanks ar. Haha.

They're nice la. Though I didn't talk very much to all of them. And there's a pair of twins! Though 1 didn't turn up. So fun! Play guessing game in future pracs. =p

Now that more pple are joining, my stand on taking a very long-term break from band after the concert is slowly wavering. Think adeline could tell. Haha. It's nice to have a fun and noisy section again with girls after so long. Not that the guys are bad. They're acty very fun to be with. But it's just different. Lol. I shall see how everything goes. Stick around for another few more pracs till the freshies are settled, then hand down the SL position and step down from comm...then I shall decide on the next step. To run for comm or not. And if not, continue with consistent band pracs? Hmm.

Anyway. I'm watching my baby fox tmr! Okay la. Helen the baby fox. Haha. Yay it's still showing! Dear knows I wanna watch it, so he booked me tmr morning to go catch that movie. Then gotta chiong back to sch. But forensic again, no one to go lec with me. Sian sian sian. Though the lecture itself is pretty alright.

I'm going to straighten my hair again! For like the millionth time. Despite knowing it's bad and all, not to mention, ultimate ouchies on the wallet. But mummy's sponsoring me! As always la. But she was like saying no prob abt the price this time, gave me a really high budget in fact. Yay. I'm happy! Having nice hair makes me happy. I hate frizz! And that's what my hair is. Frizz. Yucks to the ultimate. =( I think I shall do it before the concert. Doubt I'll have time next week, what with the mountain of projects piling up. Euww. I wanna change my fringe. Haha. Or rather, lack of. Hope it doesn't turn out too bad. *cross fingers

Percussion is fun! I think I shall spend the rest of my 1 year plus clearing AUs related to music. Hahaha. At least I like what I'm doing..and as it turns out, I'm not that bad with drumsticks as I thought I would be. Yay. =)

I think I have alot of things to do. But I'm in a slack mood! And I keep overslping for the RM lecture lately. 2 weeks in a row! Bad bad bad. RM reminds me of stats. And geri doesn't like stats. Hmm. Must do sth about it. Dowan to follow the trend of failing the exam!

I think I'm babbling. Haha. For the first time since the conception of the idea of reel in, I'm starting to feel slightly excited. Maybe it's the freshie turnout earlier that made the band seem more alive. Though they aren't playing for the concert, I somehow feel abit more excited now that it's approaching in a few days..hope everything goes well man. It'll either be my 2nd-last or last concert with ntusb..so must make the best out of it. And after that, no more exco 05/06..that's the part I'm going to miss. The exco pple...ah well. All good things must eventually come to an end..hopefully it sparks off a wonderful beginning.

Shall go and slp once my hair is dry. Late liao! And that piggy fell aslp on his bed again la. Must be. Everytime tell me "brb", I know not to believe. Haha.
