Just got back from jy's hall awhile ago! Was supposed to spend the night there studying with serena, jy, cz and emmy, but I fell aslp after barely an hour of studying...simply too tired. Haha. Ended up lugging my notes and textbook there for nothing. The only thing I acty used was PP cos' I hugged it and slept! Lol.

Went for dinner at Blooie's last night, with emmy, serena, cz, michiel, kk and yw. Didn't wanna go at first cos' it would mean less time for studying..and indeed, the whole night was wasted la. Reached back hall at midnight, way later than I expected! Considering that we left sch ard 6plus sia. But there's an explanation for all these. Haha.

Thought we could reach Blooie's at around 7plus, then start eating while waiting for yw to finish his classes at 8.30pm. We left sch late so we only reached buona vista mrt at 7.30..where michiel was already waiting for us. His conclusion is that singaporeans are seldom on time. Haha! He's rather right acty. Many of us aren't. Lol. I guess back in the netherlands, pple are always punctual then. And he says we're a lazy bunch! Take shuttle bus in sch la, take lift instead of walking...really damn funny. Anw, that's a digression. Haha.

KK didn't pick us up from the mrt in the end cos' he was stuck in some jam I think. So he told us to go there first. Emmy very confidently told us we could take either 95 or 200 then walk abit more. So we boarded 95, and when it was about to turn into the nuh road, emmy said "next stop!". When the bus turned right, I tell you, the expression on her face was classic.

"You mean it doesn't go straight..??"

*faints

There began a flurry of phonecalls to figure out where to stop haha. We ended up alighting at the central lib stop in nus, then waited for the shuttle to go pgp. Set us back by quite a long time! And michiel kept teasing emmy for leading us in the wrong direction haha. Really very hilarious. So anw, we finally got to pgp, walked through it and, ta-da! Blooie's!

That place is really tucked away at some ulu corner man. I doubt many pple know of its existence la, even nus students. Although it's just a little small path out of pgp. Haha. Settled down inside where there was this huge screen showing star sports channel, and a guy armed with a guitar and synthesiser singing for us through the night! BeforeI realised it was live, I acty thought it was a recording, and a pretty good one at that. Haha. Michiel was completely surprised when he realised it was a live performance. Lol.

The food there is nice! Really not bad at all..and the fries are quite good haha. We ordered like 2 large baskets, until we realised there's acty a free flow of fries with our maincourse. *faints. Each basket cost like at least 7buckeroos la. Haha. Emmy signed up for the membership card so we got 15% off the total bill! Which came up to almost 190bucks. For 7 pple, quite alright la. Considering they ordered hoegarden as well. Haha.

We only started eating at ard 9pm cos' poor kk was hopelessly lost and couldn't find his way to the ulu area. And apparently, it seems that emmy's directions were more of a hindrance than a help too. Lol. But at least everyone turned up in the end and had a great dinner! Plus alot of talking haha. But it was heard to converse cos' of the live music. So loud! Maybe that's why most of the patrons chose to sit outside. Haha.

So cute!! Damn funny la! Haha. When we saw it, out came our phones and we started snapping again. Lol.

No more pics! Tat's all my hp memory allowed me to take. Lousy lousy! Haha. I really enjoyed dinner with them! All thoughts of exams flew out of my head, which is very bad, but still...that place has a nice ambience, great food and most importantly, I had wonderful company! Haha. Next time let's go there again! I'm shouting out to no one in particular and everyone else reading this. Lol.

Eek it's raining! How to meet serena, cz and jy for lunch..haha. Still say wanna walk to city harvest there to meet emmy and eat. Hope the rain stops soon! I feel like just nua-ing in my room and not studying either. Yikes.

Can't believe that exams start next week! And I haven't prepared. Like, really not at all. Gosh.

Finally finished with ob presentation on tue...it went pretty alright la. And the video is totally hilarious! I have fantastic groupmates man. Except for that one..*ahem. Speaking of which, the 4 of us were supposed to meet dr. lang this morning at 1130 to discuss the problem about ty. And I woke up at 1115am. &#$(*%^!!!!

Of course a mad rush ensued. I've never been this rushed before la. Previously, even when I overslept for classes, I just went to class late. But meeting with a tutor..!! Then while I was still half awake and rushing like a madwoman, huifen msged to say she couldn't go cos' of family emergency. The 2nd bombshell came when ain said she's sick so cannot go also. And the final blow? Minh ha couldn't make it. Then left with me myself and I??!! Somemore I was running super late!!! *&#^$)@&$!!!!!

Ended up chionging like crazy to south spine after calling dr. lang and informing her I'd be late. The meeting was alright, very short and..hopefully effective. Haha. Though I'd rather my other grpmates were there too. Feels so much like seeing the principal or something. Lol.

Came back to hall and been sitting here stoning ever since...once I oversleep and end up rushing, my whole day after that will be spent feeling stoned. Die la. Need to study! Exams are next week and I still dun feel the rush of adrenaline. Just some panic n anxiety attacks once in a while. Or rather, everyday. But still, not studying and not productive at all. And still clueless about what's going on in my modules. Esp ob and IT la! Damn damn damn. I look at past year exam papers and the only thing that comes to mind is "huh??" *faints

Still have a stupid comm mgmt quiz and in-class writing assignment tmr...thought it would be rather easy to study for the quiz, so I left it till today. Then I took out the small stack of seminar notes accummulated over this sem, read the instructions on edventure, took a look at the course outline and...just died from shock. It's anything but easy la! Like wth?! Gotta memorise so many things which I probably won't have much use for, all for a quiz which shouldn't even be placed so near to exams! Where's my study break man. Exams start in a week and I'm still ploughing through tutorials, presentations and quizzes the week before. Where is the logic in this, can someone please tell me. >_<

Hai. It's about time I got back to notes and books and tutorials and whatnot. Everything I dun like. Can't wait for it all to be over man. Ohh but after exams will come intersem. Which I still dunno whether to accept or not. Dateline tmr! Shiat. Someone pls tell me what to do...better yet, whoever's given GH03 for intersem, pls come and find me so that I'll at least have a kaki to go class with and fill me in when I have to miss classes... =(

Happy Birthday Peishan!

My roomie's hit the big two-O as well..haha. Welcome to the club my dear! Happy 20th and may all ur wishes come true! Loveya! *muacks

Hope she likes the present. It's big and it's pink and it's pointy at the top. And it's cute! Guess what? Hahaha.

Another day closer to exams liao..means nearing doomsday. Eek. This sem machiam more unprepared than last sem! Although my modules are relatively slacker throughout the sem. Exam preparation is anything but slack! Hai.

Anyway, I finally had my retail therapy with serena dear! The long-awaited outing which had to be postponed till friday. Haha. Went to town and shopped like there was no tmr..I'm now the new owner of a top, 2 skirts, a pair of flats and a belt! Total damage done tallies at over a hundred buckeroos. Really hit 3 digits as predicted. Good for my mental health which has been craving for retail therapy, but extremely damaging on my poor wallet. Or rather, bank account. Since I was mostly supporting the NETS advertisment and NETS-ing my purchases all the way. Haha. Imagine if I had a debit/credit card. I think I'd soon join the pple who jump off buildings over card debts. Oops.

We met jinyuan after that but decided not to chill out at heeren's balcony after all..checked out the movie timings at cine and lido but saw nothing interesting. In the end, we chilled at the starbucks at ps and chatted till 1plus am before yours truly hit upon the brilliant (and extremely wrong) idea of mahjong-ing in jy's room. Haha. Seeing how exams are in less than 2weeks, it's no wonder I say that's the wrong thing to do. Esp after having shopped an entire day. Gosh.

Cabbed back to sch and got emmy to join us...was about 4am before we actually started the game. We got so tired, serena esp, but we insisted on finishing 1 whole round, so sleep only came about at around 7plus in the morning...terrible! Lucky we didn't play money, only chips. If not, my losses would have added on to my already dying wallet. Haha. Beginner's luck wearing off already!

Emmy and jy told us a piece of very exciting news involving a one week postponement of exams. Which instantly perked me up and got my gears turning unbelievably fast. Simultaneously feeling happy that I get extra time to study, not having to feel so guilty at mahjong-ing instead of studying, wondering what to do about the bash that would probably clash with exams, and blah blah. A million thoughts running through my head at the same time. Amazing how such news manages to wake my mind up and get my brain cells to function. Until...

emmy: "It's valid for one day only."

me: "huh?"

emmy: "happy april fool's!!!" *laugh laugh laugh

me and serena: *fainted

Though I started feeling a mixture of disappointment, guilt and whatnot almost instantly, I hafta agree it was a really good prank. She really got me there haha. And before us, jy suffered at her hands. The next day at lunch, it was zb's turn to go through it. Courtesy of "asst prof chee m.z.", as jy put it. Lol.

Anw..that's how exciting my fri and sat were. More exciting than my entire week put tgther. Fun as it was, it cost me my studies. Opportunity cost man. Urgh.

Okay, gotta get back to the books..though I wish I could substitute "books" with "bed". Sighh.
