Back from malaysia at last!

The trip was quite alright la. Seeing how I was rather reluctant to go in the first place. Heh.

Didn't shop very much in KL. At least, not as much as I'd like to. Shopping with family is always different. It's not like shopping with friends, who are generally mutual shopaholics too. Haha. Daddy and Cheryl are so not the shopping type of pple. And mummy kept saying how this is so ex, that is so ex...I wanna buy oso cannot. Hai. And if the price of sth is similar to that of spore's, daddy would say, why buy in msia. Might as well buy in spore. That's basically why the stuff I bought can almost be counted on just one hand. -_-

Went to Times Square as usual, seeing how our hotel was just directly opposite. This time, we went to many more places than the last time. Including sungei wang, bb plaza and blah...ohh! And megamall! Haha. That place is simply huge. Just as its name suggests. Heh. Chih, if you think Times Square is super big, wait till you go to megamall. Not only is it humoungous, the shops are much nicer too! More like what I'm used to in spore. Haha. There's Mango there! But msia's Mango stuff are more ex than spore's sia. Hey Chih, so sorry I couldn't get the skirt for you ya. My parents were in this super huge rush and wouldn't let me go to find the shop and buy your skirt. =(

Ohh, I finally know how a chipmunk looks like. And no, it is nowhere near chip and dale. To be honest, I dun quite like the look of a real chipmunk. Too bad I couldn't take pics in that shop. It basically looks like a mini squirrel minus the bushy tail, cute face, and it has lots of dark stripes. Okay, fine, it doesn't look anything like a squirrel. Plus, it has this super long tail that looks like thin wire covered with lots of bristles. Sorry if my description doesn't sound convincing enough. The picture is in my head but I'm simply at a loss as to how to describe it. Haha. In short, it isn't cute. At all. I can't figure out who would wanna own a chipmunk for a pet. Unless it looks like chip and dale. Which it doesn't. -_-

There were a few hiccups on this trip. Despite the big rush my parents were in, we still missed the bus to go up to Genting from KL. So, for almost 30mins after that, we looked like extremely lost tourists trying to find the way to another bus terminal. And I hate looking like a stranded tourist lugging luggage around under the hot sun. -_-

Anyway, we managed to get onto a bus, like, 5mins before it was due to leave. *phew. Genting was pretty much uneventful, as always. All we did was to walk, eat, walk, and eat somemore. The food mostly sucks btw. Getting from bad to worse. So is the service. Pui. And yet prices are increasing at ridiculous rates. Where's the logic in this. Dots.

The bus ride back to spore was mildly entertaining. Credit goes to the couple sitting in front of me. The girl had this freakingly loud laugh that made my hair stand. Okay I'm exaggerating, but you get the idea. And her laugh sounded like a hyena screeching. The thing is, hyenas don't screech. So, for her to sound like that is really...euww. >_<

It took me quite awhile to figure out what they were doing acty. They were playing with a deck of poker cards, and the rule of the game is simply this: the girl would say either "da" (big) or "xiao" (small) before flipping over a card from the deck. If the card corresponded to what she said, her bf would get 'punished', so to speak. And if the card turned out to be the opposite of what she said, then she would kena from her bf la. And their mode of punishment is crazy to say in the least. For example, the girl would place her knuckles on the guy's head and press down hard before dragging them across his head. And vice versa. Ultimately, this would create an "ouch" effect. And why they would wanna do this is really beyond me. I'm, like, so sure the two of them give places like yunnam haircare alot of business. -_-'''

Anyway, I can't quite remember what else happened on this trip acty. Haha. All I know is that I'm seriously in holiday mood and I dun wanna go back to work. But I miss the pple at work! My darls especially. Heard that the new batch of pple aren't very nice. Cor dear says that her partner is all stony. Kengchuan says his partner is irritating. And he says that Xiaoxuan's partner sucks too. Oh man. I hope my partner's nice. How I wish we didn't even hafta change seats at all. Sigh.

Okay, I shall make full use of tmr before I go back to work on sat. Meeting PS to go back tj and then to go shopping! I can't wait! =)))
