Answering calls everyday is becomg a routine. I start off with the standard greeting which comes out automatically once I pick up a call. The funny thing is, I dun understand why half the world gets my name wrong. So many scenarios already can.

Scenario1
Me: Good morning, Geraldine speaking, how can I help you?
TP: Hi Jenny, good morning-
Me: It's Geraldine....

Scenario 2
Me: Good afternoon, Geraldine speaking, how may I help you?
TP: Ahh yes, Geralyn, I was wondering-
Me: GeralDINE.
TP: GeraLYN right?
Me:........

Scenario 3
Me: Good morning, Geraldine speaking, how may I help you?
TP: Yes, hi, Kelly, I was hoping-
Me: My name is Geraldine.
TP: Ahh yar lor, Kelly yar.
Me:.........................

Since when does Geraldine sounds like Kelly. Or Jenny. Or whatever else they like to call me by. Diao.

On the other hand, there are some rather funny calls too.

Me: *standard greeting*
TP: *mutters a string of numbers*
Me: Miss, may I know if this is your IC number?
TP: No leh, it's my PIN number...
Me: !!! Er, you can't tell me your PIN number! It's confidential.
TP: Er, but I want to phone file leh...
Me:...........Miss, this is not the number for phone filing. You're supposed to get to a machine...I give you the number alright?.................

Funny can. She really thought that we'll sit around and phone file for taxpayers right. Lol. Then there was another...

Me: Sir, please hold on for awhile, I'll double check for you-
TP: Hey wait! Miss! Don't go! It took me soooo long to get through to you! Don't go away!
Me: Er, Sir, I'm just putting you on hold. I'm not ending the call. Really.
TP: No!!!
Me:.............
-awhile later-
TP: Ahh, I want to ask you something. I want to ask...er...I want to ask...
Me: Yes Sir?
TP: Sorry la, I'm so excited now, finally got through to someone, I can't remember the question..
Me: *press mute button and laugh myself silly*

I can't help it if some pple want to talk to me so desperately right. Lol. =p

I think I'm never gonna get around to applying for uni. Hahas. After work everyday, the only time I'm free to surf the uni webbys are at night. But once I sign into msn and start yakking, there goes my whole night. Lol. This sat is nus open house..wondering if I shd go. It's either that or go and see my new neice! Daddy says she's really, really cute! I wanna see her!!! But been working the past 2 sats, so no time to go. If I go this sat, I can't go nus. If I go nus, I can't see her. Haiyo.

Work today was unexpectedly slack after lunch. For the first hour, aniwaes. System was down, so none of us had calls! Hahas. Ended up slacking and crapping, fixing milo and eating candy. Lol. At least, until Jasmine decided I was too slack and gave me some cutting to do. Wahaha. Too bad, cut halfway then the lines started ringing again. Siew Ping msged me, saying that her dept (property tax) kena scolded by this angry taxpayer who couldn't get through to the IIT line. Oops. Heh. Pple who didn't come today really chose the wrong day to take leave sia. 2 over hrs of slacking time. Hahas. Ohh! Poor Layleng kena cramps so nvr come. Tkkaire babe! I can understand what it's like to go through that kind of torture. Hope to cya tml! Missed ya today. =]

I wanna go shopping! Need my retail therapy badly. Payday's in 2 days! Can't wait! But must exercise self-control sia. Whoever goes shopping with me, please stop me if I start throwing money about and splurging like crazy! I need the money for uni fees. Heh. Scholarship's outta the qns la. Too bad. Maybe a bursary? Hmm. -ponders-

I feel quite 'lifeless'. Apart from work and tuition, more work and more tuition, I dun have much of a life leh. Even if I wanna go out, so many pple aren't free. Sigh. It's just so hard to find pple to go out. Just a simple dinner..movie..shopping...hai. Sian la. Whoever's free please jio me out keke. I'm really bored at home. I'm free after work everyday! Except mon and thu. Hahas. I feel like I'm advertising. >_<

Keke, I'm not signed into msn now. Which explains why I managed to type this whole entry at one go. Lol. Shall resist the urge to start msning for now. Must go figure out those uni stuff first. Heh. Settle it once and for all then nonit to headache liao! =p
